While Debbie’s a relative newcomer on the scene, her concept is starting to make quite an impression. This mother of four has spent the bulk of her adult life pushing her hopes and dreams into the farthest recesses of her mind. I know a lot of us can relate to her story. She had a laundry list of reasons why her dream life and “waking” life could never meet. Don’t we all? And, like most of us, she believed every one of them.
Opting instead to follow the practical path through life, she went to college and got an engineering degree. She landed a job and continues to work at NASA and raise a family, as well. She never gave her secret desire much conscious thought but it filled her dreams, I can tell you that! It wasn’t until she was forced to face various personal challenges a few years ago that she began to look inward—rather than outward—to find solutions to them.
Like so many of us before her, when Debbie decided to make a change, she dove headlong into the study of personal growth and development. She’d experience some changes, but ultimately found that she couldn’t sustain a positive outlook or incorporate what she was learning into other areas of her life. She felt like she’d heard it all before. She knew, in her heart, that her feelings were bound to influence what she’d attract into her life but she just couldn’t stop herself.
How many of us can? Something always seemed to sabotage even her best laid plans. She sank deeper and deeper into an emotional, downward spiral that often consumed her for days, weeks and even months at a time. Just as she was about to hit rock bottom emotionally—nearly one year ago—her concept for AttitudeZapz! emerged. What a rollercoaster ride!
